DeSantis Drops, Trump Dominates Early States with Iron Grip

(ConcernedPatriot.com) – Former President Donald Trump maintains overwhelming leads in the three early states of the GOP primary, according to polls released on Sunday.

The polls show Trump has taken a commanding lead in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has fallen to third place in South Carolina.

The three polls reveal a weakened DeSantis slipping farther and further—this is the first time he has not placed second in any national or state-level poll this year—and a consistently dominant Trump.

According to the South Carolina survey, former governor Nikki Haley, who previously served as Donald Trump's ambassador to the UN, has surpassed DeSantis to take second position.

While DeSantis is still in second position in the polls in Iowa and New Hampshire, other candidates are creeping uncomfortably close behind him, suggesting they are also ready to pass him there.
