(ConcernedPatriot.com) – In a segment of an interview with the Fox News Channel broadcast on Tuesday's "Special Report," Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he didn't fire Dr. Anthony Fauci.

He said it was because he couldn't. He added, "But I wouldn't let that usually get in my way." He also stated that he didn't spend much time with Fauci.

Trump said that his Republican opponent in 2024, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, "loved Fauci."

"DeSantis "had lines of people trying to get the vaccine," according to Trump. "He organized everything. Furthermore, Ron DeSantis loved Fauci," he said.
