A frightening attack by a sizable group of adolescents at the San Clemente Pier on Friday night left three local US Marines needing medical attention.

Hunter Antonino, a self-described Marine, claims that he and his two buddies were taking it easy on their day off and strolling down the San Clemente Pier when a group of around 30 to 40 adolescents arrived.

He reportedly asked the teens to stop setting off fireworks when one of the pieces hit him in the face.

He also called the U.S. military aid to the nation "the best money we've ever spent."
