| (FamilyConservationPAC.com) – The number of daily appointments for asylum seekers at the several southwest border ports of entry has increased, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). CBP states this will increase from 1,250 daily migrant admissions through the application to 1,450 daily migrant admissions. The amount marks a nearly 50% increase over the total daily appointments available from May 12, when CBP officers started processing 1,000 appointments daily, according to an announcement by CBP on June 30. The CBP promotes the application as a "safe, orderly, and humane" process for migrants to enter ports of entry, giving CBP agents advanced knowledge for screening and vetting to determine admissibility individually.   Read More Here   |
