Robert De Niro Bashes Trump, MAGA Supporters At Cannes Film Festival

(ConcernedPatriot.com) – Actor and father of seven children, Robert De Niro, has returned to publicly criticizing Donald Trump, labeling those who favor him "insane" during a news conference on Sunday at the Cannes Film Festival.

De Niro likened Trump to the deadly antagonist in Martin Scorsese's film Killers of the Flower Moon. De Niro plays William Hale in the new movie, which had its global debut this weekend at Cannes.

Hale was a cattle magnate who was found guilty in 1929 of killing a member of the Osage nation for oil rights.

He told reporters that evil still exists in the world and that former President Trump is an example.

"OF COURSE, WE CAN SEE IT NOW. WE ALL KNOW ABOUT THE PERSON I'M GOING TO TALK ABOUT, BUT I WON'T MENTION HIS NAME BECAUSE HE IS A MORON. CONSIDER YOURSELF SMART. HALE HAD A LOT OF INTELLIGENCE. THE FRIGHTENING ASPECT ABOUT IT IS THAT IT'S A RACIST SYSTEMATIC ISSUE."
