| Mitch McConnell Warns GOP: 'NO Biden Impeachment!'
(ConcernedPatriot.com) – Republicans in the House have been persuaded not to impeach President Joe Biden by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
McConnell stated in an interview with the New York Times published on Tuesday that he does not want to carry on the impeachment cycle that Democrats began two years ago when they impeached former President Trump on shaky grounds.
"I said two years ago, when we had not one but two impeachments, that once we go down this path it incentivizes the other side to do the same thing," McConnell said.
"Impeachment ought to be rare," he added. "This is not good for the country."
